The Enviro Ingress units are available with a choice of two IP (International Protection, or sometimes known as Ingress Protection) ratings. As defined by standard IEC 60529, the IP50 versions protects against all harmful dust particles. The IP65 versions protects against dust and are sealed against low pressure water spray from all directions.
The IP50 models are suitable for a dusty environment such as fibreboard packaging while the IP65 units are ideal for hose-down areas such as those in the food industry.
